For PCB designers and reviewers

Turn your PCB schematics intobuildable designs.

Ohmatic finds what’s wrong, explains how to fix it, and verifies each revision until your design is ready to build.

The problem

A valid schematic is not a buildable board.

A schematic can pass basic wiring checks and still fail in operation, electrical limits, or component availability. Those failures often surface only after fabrication, when every fix means another board spin.

An illustration: designs enter across the full width of a funnel mouth and are progressively eliminated as it narrows, until only a few leave through the throat. The pass rates it stands for are listed beneath the chart.
  1. 100%

    of schematics enter review

    Every submitted design starts here.

  2. 83–88%

    look correctly wired

They pass the electrical rule check (ERC).

  3. 21–53%

    pass functional review

A separate semantic evaluation rejects many designs that clear basic rule checks.

  4. 8.15%

    survive end-to-end verification

The other 91.85% risk reaching the fab carrying a fault.

The cost of finding out late

The fab becomes the first real test.

However the schematic was created, a late failure creates the same expensive loop.

A typical PCB project averages 2.9 respins. At $44k and 8.5 days each, that is ≈ $128k before shipment.

Our solution

Three checks. One standard for every design.

Whether you drew it yourself or generated it with AI, a schematic passes only when its wiring, electrical behavior, and parts all hold up.

ERC

Topology

Is it wired correctly?

Finds missing connections, reversed pins, shorts, and support components the circuit needs.

  • Powered and connected nets
  • Correct pin orientation and isolation
  • Required protection and support parts
Electrical rule checks
PHYSICS

Physics

Will it work within its limits?

Calculates voltage, current, and power across the circuit, then checks each part against its ratings and tolerances.

  • Real operating points
  • Voltage, current, and power limits
  • Worst-case component tolerances
First-principles calculations
PRC

Buildability

Can you actually build it?

Matches every component to the live catalog and confirms it can be sourced.

  • Correct part and package
  • Available component match
  • Traceable part for every component
Live component catalog
Verified designEvery pass includes the information you need to review, approve, and send to the fab.
How it works

One design. One verification loop. A clear verdict.

Submit your design, then keep every revision in the same verify-to-fix loop. Ohmatic runs the same deterministic checks, returns actionable repair feedback, and issues a pass only when the design clears all three.

Submit your design

Submit your design through your review workflow.

  • Bring the design you want to verify.
  • Submit it for verification.
  • The generation ID links every following revision.
Get access

Ohmatic starts with a conversation.

Every design flow is different, so we scope yours before you get keys. We work out the right fit for your process together on the call.

01

See it on a real design

We run the three checks on a design like yours and walk through the verdict, the diagnostics, and the results that come back on a pass.

02

Scope your flow

Volume, integration path, the rules you need, and whatever your review process has to satisfy.

03

Get access for your workflow

Access is provisioned for your team once you are set up.

Vision

Verification is what lets hardware design be automated.

Circuits can already be produced faster than anyone can check them, which is exactly why so few of them reach a fab. Verification is the layer that makes the rest usable — so we are building it as infrastructure for engineers designing today.
